Next Training Class Date Set
Due to popular demand, CHMR will be holding the first of two training classes for February in the CHMR Studios (Room UC-2009) on Thursday, February 9th at 2:15 pm. All participants must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the beginning of this class. Individuals who arrive late will not be admitted. A writing utensil and paper will come in handy. The class is free to MUN students and there is a $20 fee for non-students. Volunteer applications may be obtained here and submitted at CHMR studios. You should also download and bring a copy of CHMR's policies and procedures.

We now have two quickstart guides posted to the MEMBER RESOURCES page. One is for Show Hosts, the other is for News Readers, to help with operating our On-Air system. These should only be used in conjunction with the training classes.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 20TH - Memorial University is closed for the morning with an update at 11 am concerning the remainder of the day. As such, CHMR's Training Class scheduled for 10 am today is CANCELLED, and is rescheduled for next Friday, January 27th. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Due to the possibility of inclement weather on Friday, January 20th, we ask that those attending the training class scheduled for 10 am monitor the university's cancellations page on Friday morning. If the university closes, the training class will be cancelled and rescheduled for Friday, January 27th. If the university remains open, the class will go ahead as scheduled.
